For U two

Since the random meet up in Dragon Markt, we have became closer to each other and more emotionally attached as days passed. We spend more time together to the extend we crashed at their place every now and then. =))

I am really grateful to have them both in my life although it was a short one. They have made me feel like I was home in a foreign country. Nothing could describe how glad I am to know them. Honestly I wasnt feeling so homesick-ish bcos of you two. Hehe.  Papa und mama.

Thank you so so much for everything. From friendship to advice to your time to your kindness to the awesome outings to your splendid cooking to your pampering to your spoiling for this 3 months. It has been great.

One of my ways to express my gratitude. Blogging! I wanted to blogged about it to thank you. Hehe. SURPRISEE!!     Terharu ke tak? Nangis la. Hehehehe.

Personally I will miss you both when I reach home. Lets keep in touch virtually for now till we meet again in Malaysia. Cepat-cepat la balikkk!! Then we boleh visit Johor, Singapore, Penang and K.Terengganu sama-sama. Should be fun and full of laughters. Hehe.

Movie Hangover

Movie marathon has been a new hobby these days. Yesterday itself we watched 3 movies in a row during the stayover. One thriller movie and two ghost horror movie.

The title of the thriller movie is Friday the 13th. Jason killed almost everyone in a quick matter. Dead. Right through the head. Two was killed s-l-o-w-ly. One burned to death and the other pierced through the neck and skull s-l-o-w-l-y. Eeeeewww!!

Next on the list was a movie from Thailand, title : Coming Soon. This horror movie was about how every cinema staff who watched the movie died in the movie. Spooky! In the movie´s movie back stage, the main actress was hung dead accidentally, the movie crews didnt realise till it´s too late. Damn. Then she came back to kill everyone who watched the movie.

Animation horror movie titled 4bia was next. By the time 4bia was played, adrenaline rush was running all over me. I actually thought why am I watching horror movie and I think I am gonna regret when I am back to Ave. Eeeekkkk!! Huhu. Lets hope I dont hear things when I get back.

That night, I was suddenly haunted by a nightmare that I used to have when I was a kid and it wasnt a good sign, at least for me. I woke up with an empty head and my hands trembling. I dont want to recall what my dream was. =.=

Today we watched a movie called Hostel. It is a human-torture type of movie where people go to Slovakia and pay to torture. The degree of the torture sums the amount you would need to pay for the torture "experience". This movie is so sick. How can anyone be so inhuman to torture others(innocent people) for personal satisfaction for the hatred that they have towards a nationality. Eeeww eewww eeewwww!!  =(

You can drown me with any Thai horror movies but not human-torture movie. It hurts me mentally watching people get tortured without any mercy. Argh! Sick sick sick!!!

A Sunday

Am in disbelief I actually voluntereed to cook for a friend. XP. Alil upset I wont be able to see her off. So I spend as much time as I could with her. Memories is what will remain in my heart. Bidding goodbye is never easy especially when you know meeting together again ain´t easy.

---

Last 24 hours, on a Sunday,

The day started with running after a bus. Waking up after a mere 6 hours of sleep. Its a Sunday!! Spring cleaning is here! Scrub the kitchen. Scrub the washroom. BOO! Indulging homecooked pasta. Napping like a dead zombee. Bowling which I almost killed Yan in the process. Oops. Eating local KFC. Meeting Ana for the last time before she leaves. Play crash position. Carried a freaking heavy vacumn back home which made my hands trembled after that. Vacumn-ing in the midst of night for the fun of it since there wasnt many people in Ave anymore.

I want to sleep with zombee style nap cos it felt so good.

One Our

Random meet up. Random idea. Random call, not really random but ya.

AND the evening was spent with boat riding. Rofl.

Dipping my feet into the moving water felt so calming and relaxing.

Stalking, scaring and chasing after ducks and swans in the middle of nowhere is so fun. XP

There was one incident when we were on the way to "tackling" (Jun´s favourite verb) this swan but it was too fast for us so we paddled away. Then the swan actually shoke its tail as if it was saying Neh Neh Neh Neh Neh, you cannot catch me. BLEKKK!! Losers!!

You dont want to know my reaction after I saw that.

Company

Stayover has never been this fun. It has been a long long time since I had one. With lotsa food, great time, tensing poker game; it wouldnt have been that good without a great company. What else can I ask for? ^^

I am grateful to Riced and Yan for being overly nice to me. Pampering me. Spending time with me. Saying yes to the idea I crash their place although I told them at the very last 3 hours.

Also thankful to buds like Junie and Heidi.

And, the great dessert chef who made the day better with his dessert, Choc Lava cake. They brighten and sweeten everyone's day. ^^

I didnt crash their place because my Internet crash. It's because I needed to be around someone badly that day.

Want to thank you guys for making my day a good one. Ich liebe euch. Ich glaube.

Parting from GSO SS09 Experience

It has been 4 months since I was here in Nurnberg. Time passes really fast, like in a glimpse of an eye and Final exams are here! Oh my. A hit on the face saying that I am leaving soon, damn. Huhu.

Have been mingling more with the Exchange students I have met instead of adapting to the environment and make more friends with the local Germans to understand their culture better and clear some perceptions. Sigh. No point regretting now can I? Time waits for no one.

Well the type of experience one wants to gain depends solely on you. You want it, work on it, make a difference. It´s your experience, no one else´s.

I would definitely remember the experience I have been through for this past 6 months. The process and the people I have met. Although nothing is perfect throughout this journey, but things happen for a reason and we learn from it. Woot!

I am grateful I could actually be here to experience all this. Being able to meet all the magnificent people throughout this journey was just awesome pawsome. No words can express how I really feel right now.

(( An individual is unique on their own no matter where they are from! ))

Thank you so so much to all of them who have made my experience a memorable one, a unique one. I have learned a number of things from them. I wish I could just collect them in a bottle and bring them home.

Truly wish time could pass really really slow for the next 1.5 months.

Parting is the imperfect part of life.

Happee lil me =))

If there is one thing that makes my day, it is definitely sweet stuff like chocolates, cakes, desserts and candies!! As I was struggling against my will to lie on the bed, I needed something to snack to keep myself up to read. Although I dont really know what I was reading, I just continue reading anyway. Lalala.

I had cravings for white chocolate but I finished them. Sigh. Then I was tempted to walk to Penny Mart to buy a box of ice-cream to indulge on. BUT I didnt anyway in the end. As I was getting depressed over it, I remembered about the candy Alice gave me. YAY!!!

Studying time was replaced with camwhoring. I love candyy!! =))

I was not trying to look like  a retard. XP

History repeats. I supposed to be studying now but I chose to blog instead. Blekkkk.

Yesterday was Carol´s birthday. Her friends decided to have a surprise drinking party for her. Although it is exam season, I went anyway since Carol is one of the nicest people I know. I am gonna miss this bunch of people when I get back. The things you see them do at parties are so random and funny.

They had this drinking game which has the same concept as snake-and-ladders board game where you throw the dice etc. I didnt bring my camera along or you would get to see it. It was in Spanish. So I had to depend on them whenever I stop somewhere. The game is all about drinking. You stop here, someone drinks. You stop there, more people drinks with you. At times you get to decide who drinks also. Hahaha. A game where you have the perfect excuse to be drunk.

I was drunk yesterday. Alice forced me to drink like a zillion times. Evilll!! And I tried a few alcohol stuff. Tequilla!! =))      Glad I was not down with a hangover this morning or it would have been ugly.

And I almost had my first puff! The batang rokok look so good to not resist it. But I didnt in the end. Alil regret cos it would be interesting to try it for the first time. XD
I hope dad doesnt read this entry or I will be doom. Maybe he will be proud of me instead, hmmmmm, I doubt it. Haha.

Dessert

I had a fright of my life just now. I panic, I scream Wah!

My room was in a HUGE mess and a friend decides to do a lawatan mengejut. He is at your hostel area already upon the phone call. Waahhh!! Panicc!! Panicc!! Breath, breath!! Alil glad he was not at the front door instead. That would be bad. For him.

Last minute adrenaline rush into my blood. I chucked everything I could into the closet. Phew! Safe.

Wat else, wat elseeee??

Close the toilet door! There's things I dont think I should exhibit.

I hope ahpakk didnt get the fright of his life though. Gack =.=
He brought some yummy dessert. 3 types. Similar to kuih lapis, the round yellow thingi and 'kau chong something' which you can see it below.

It was good to have something sweet to eat after a long day of studying boring stuff with alot of long breaks in between

Terima kasih ahpakk. Sedap la! =))     Maaf if you were frightened just now. Blekk. Next time inform earlier aite. XP

Rendang und Kuih Batik =))

It feels so good getting together with Riced, Yan and Faisal again after a period of time. Nothing beats good company, great food, and drama-movie.

There was so much to eat. We had rendang, nasi himpit and belacan ayam for main course. Today, I went home with a full stomach and a happy smiley face. I truly enjoyed the rendang with great thanks to Yan and Riced. Really delicious. ^^

Apparently I broke the stove. Me and kitchen are not meant to be together. And dont forget the toilet door too. XP

Yan made kek batik which tasted superb! I totally loved it and couldnt resist for the second piece although I was stuffed already. Hehe. Thinking my stomach is some blackhole, I continued eating the apfel strudel also. Bad move.

During dinner, we watched "Confession of a Shopaholic". Nice movie. We watched alil glimpse of a local Malaysian show called "Ten Ten Ten". It was so so random! I like! Hahaha. I miss Astro. From what I heard from bro, mum has conquered the TV. There seems to be no room for my affection towards Cantonese dramas when I am back or the TV might kamikaze aka blow up. Gack.

After filling up our stomach, we played alil game of Poker! WAhhhh!! It has been a long time since I played cards. Nothing beats leisure time. MMmmmm, the atmosphere was intense. Everyone was so focus, so serious, strategising the best method, NOT!!! XP

How I wished those chips was real money. Rofl. Pretty sure Riced would have wished really hard it was real also.

I think people who has the same birthday would be rather similar, one way or another. Really! Faisal has the same birthday as me. If it was in the same year, then we would be twins. WAh!! XP

He eats like all the time I think like me. And he was the first who couldnt stop indulging. XD    And he tak segan pun. I am the opposite in this factor though. =P

The camera guy Riced. He has a muka manja when he wants ice-cream. Kawaii na!! XD
But he won the Poker game in the end. Dont play-play.

I Lap transformerss!!

WARNING before you decide to read on.

If you have not watch Transformers II, dont read on cos I want to give a random thought about the movie. Please go watch it if you have not. I totally fell in love with the whole boom bang fighting scene.

My first movie in Nurnberg. I think they should have more movie trailers. And funnier advertisements, not so commercialised.

Feedback time

Optimus Prime is handsome as a robot.
They should have much more scene with Bumble Bee. Bumble Bee was cute with his mask.
Megan Fox is hotter in 1st movie.
The Medusa robot as the hot girl was totally predictable she is NOT human. Too obvious.
I dont understand and didnt like the way Sam was revived. So typical way of reviving.
The old rusty Decepticons-changesides-to-Autobots was so mulia. Huhu. I terharu.
I totally love the bomb scenes effects.
I am happy my parents are not like Sam´s. LOL.
I was thinking about "that" scene with my parents instead. Hahaha. OMG, I dont know how I would react.
Disgusted with the many many small balls turning into robots and slowly became 1. Eeee.
The view of The Fallen brothers frozen was amazing. Superb!
I want to fly to Egypt and go crazy at the artifactures there.
The soldier dude is cute and alil hot. XP   Why Sam cant be hot?
The twin robots was so cute. They fight like all the time like lil boys.
The stupid guy with specs was an ass. He was the one that blew everything. BODOH!!! Strangle him!! Gahh!! I am happy he flew off with the parachute.
Sam´s roommate is such a crybaby. Hahaha. I totally laughed at his face expression in times of death. So funnyy!!
Megatron was not up to my expectation at all. Not evil at all.
"Sometimes cowards survive".
The way Skyscream and Megatron retreat just like that is not satifying. Why no fight back??
I love the computer effects!!
I could feel the mean inhuman effect of war.
The perverted horny tiny robot Megan Fox "caught" was like OMG. But cute in a way.
I love robots. They are eye-candy.

Throughout the movie, I was behaving. Really. But there was still some sound effect produced unintentionally. A little, just a little. I hope the audience there didnt think I was too noisy for them. Huhu.

Self confession :
I want to rewatch it again.
In 12 hours, belacan chicken!! Time to indulge!! Hehehhehe.

International Day

Oh, I forgot to blog about something. Hahaha.

Yesterday, the International Office of GSO organised an International Day where all GSO students from different nationalities are encouraged to participate and share the culture with the rest of the students.

What sort of culture you say?

Hohoho. Nonetheless, the food. Yippie! Food is the best thing to describe about culture if you ask me.

So here goes. Gaze at the delicious exotic food from 10 different countries. Spain, Thailand, Sweeden, China, Ecuador, Mexico, Korea, Italy, a country from Africa which I cant recall. Oops.

"HEHHH??"
"Where's the food?"
"I dont see them also! =.= "

I am guessing this must be your reaction after looking at the photos above. XP

Let me explain why I didnt put up any food picture.

That night, was one sad sad day for me. Because I was there late, I could only taste two types of food. The Sweedish and the Spanien food. ONLY! Huhuhu. I cant help feeling depressed after that. Sobs.

One very very important lesson. Never ever ever be late for events that involves food wherever you are. Be punctual, no, be early to be safe!! Or you would end up like me. Going home with an empty stomach. Sad isnt it?     -- Explanation completed. --

`` Anyway . . . everyone seems to be enjoying themselves that nite. The participants, the attendees. ^^    It was a great event. USM should hold this some time.

Oh Oh. I think I am we are photogenic or something. There are photos of me us in all the events held by International Office like Munich trip, Hamburg trip, Asian Nite, Welcome Brunch etc.

I feel alil not so safe now. There are stalkers out there. LOL. But I love the attention though. XP       There was some photos that were nice. I was tempted to pull them out while no one was looking. Heheh.

This week!

I am so so looking forward to this week´s schedule. Although one has past (just just now) but.... I am still very excited for this week.

Today the yummy chicken and food from Hong Kong.

Tomorrow the Transformers movie. Action on a big screen! Big Boom bang! Arrr!! XP

The next day, belacan chicken. Hehehe. I cant wait.

^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

The food we had just now was a blast. I kept licking my finger. Mmmm. With all thanks to Miss Jessie !! Yummy yummy food.

And Baileys! I feel like buying a bottle for myself and get drunk. Its cheaper here. Maybe I should get one then ask mum to bring it back. Hehehe XP

And some cute weird red fruit that I keep eating. Sigh. Remind me to not sit next to a table with food. I keep munching. Q__Q

And chocolates. Oh-My-God! I miss Mars. The guilttt of eating themmm... wahhh!! Blehhh. Dont care. Enjoy first, whine later about the after-effect.

The Nite

The Asian Nite comprising of 3 countries (Korea, Malaysia and Vietnam) coming together to share our culture with GSO students.

Because of this Nite, the three of us sacrifised our 5 days holiday unwillingly. We really prioritise this Nite to bits, while others enjoyed themselves somewhere.

Those 5 days was intense. Lol. Had to finalise the recipe, guessing where to buy the ingredients, journey to various Asian shops in the town, buying the ingredients, picking the best price since we have a limit to claim.

While hunting for the best offer, we bumped into 2 Malaysians. And we sort of clicked? Hahaha. It was so fun to talk in Manglish (Malay + English). Hehehe. They are really friendly people though. I asked for sambal recipe and she email-ed me instantly. Ooooo. Wahhhh =))

We picked 3 dishes for the Nite. Nasi lemak, karipap and red bean dessert. The recipe was founded by Heidi.

Junie and Heidi made alot of effort in making the dishes taste delicious. While I, just did the supporting stuff like making noise, cutting and alil washing at times. This Nite really took our breath away, we were tired in the end. But it was worthwhile. =))

For the cooking part, I didnt put much effort into it bcos I cant cook. The most I did was just following them around getting the ingredients, cutting and washing.

I was preparing the video presentation about Malaysia. I did what I could in 1 nite 1 day with many thanks to Youtube. This was the result. Ok ok lor, nothing to WOW about. I didnt really really work on it to be honest. Could have included more elements and cut more unnecessary stuff. Alil grammar mistakes also. Sobs. Oh well.

But I personally like the powerpoint I made that day. Lol. We sang 'Rasa Sayang' for the performance part. I kinda syok sendiri alil I think. Oops. I pointed at the projected screen as if it was a touchscreen instead of telling my friend with the laptop where to click. Gosh. Q__Q

Anyway, these people below without the traditional clothing were smart enough to come early (before the Nite started) to eat first. Haha. We were glad that they liked it. Some like the sambal nasi lemak alot but there wasnt much for them.

Below you can see the food prepared by us and the Koreans. The Koreans made Korean pizza, kim chi and pali ja (looks like sushi). I totally love the Korean pizza. Mmmmm  .. .

There was no picture of what the Vietnamese prepared as the food came when the Nite started. We didnt had the chance to eat them. It finished. Sobs. What a pity.

Oh oh, this are the 2 Malaysian fellas. Julie and Riced (on the far right). AND we successfully converted a confused German-Thai (the one wearing black baju Melayu) into Malaysian. Hahaha. It is gonna be more complicated with 3 identities now. Haiz. Good luck to you making up your mind ahpakk.

** Note to ahpakk if you are reading this: We are really really thankful for everything you have done and spending your time helping us out. Thank you so so much. You dont know how much it has meant to us. Terima kasih ^^

Alil picture of the performance by Vietnamese. Similar to Fan Dance though but they used hat instead of fan.

As mentioned above, we taught the audience to sing Rasa Sayang.

Spot what is it with the picture below.

Next we have the pro all the way from Malaysia teaching us the right way to wear / make a tudung.

Attempt 1

Attempt 2
This is how I would look like in a tudung.
 I look exceptionally happie here.
I have always wanted to wear a tudung for god knows how long. Hehe. Finally I am wearing one.
Thanks Juli sifu.

Now, here, we have one very ambitious potential candidate who dreams to be a Malaysia Prime Minister one day. Doesnt he has that look to be the next PM? Rofl. He memang gedik habis².

The sexiest and the hiao-est person for the Nite goes to Junie. Sexy kan?

Here we have the very excited Europeans trying out the baju kebaya and the tudung. Hehehe.

Malaysia, we love you. I will be back. Mua hahaha! Wait for me. =))
